32 weeks · Online, live · NZ Diploma, Level 6
This diploma ends with ten weeks on a live client project inside one of our 300+ partner companies. The 22 weeks before that teach you business analysis, front-end engineering and UX design — everything you need to be useful the day you walk in.
No previous tech or design experience required. StudyLink and Fees Free eligible.
What this programme is
Business analysts used to write requirements and stop. UX designers used to hand over designs and stop. Neither role stays in its lane any more: analysts are expected to understand users, designers are expected to understand the business, and both are expected to work confidently alongside developers. People who can do both halves are considerably harder to replace than people who can do one.
Over 32 weeks you'll learn to map a business problem, design and prototype a solution, test it with real users, and build the front end yourself. Then you'll take that toolkit into a real company on a live brief, with a mentor. Business analyst also sits on New Zealand's Green List for long-term skill shortages, which makes this combination a deliberate choice rather than a coincidence.
✓
You want to move into UX or business analysis and you need delivered work that proves you can do the job, not just a qualification
✓
You're an analyst, coordinator or project manager wanting to move towards customer-facing digital and product roles
✓
You're a Mission Ready graduate adding a second skill set that widens what you can apply for
✓
You want the broadest range of roles open at the end — design, analysis, product and everything in between
✓
You can commit properly for 32 weeks and treat it like a job, because that's what gets you the result
–
You want to learn self-paced, without industry experience
–
You can't make live weekday daytime sessions in phase 1
–
You're after a full three-year degree
–
You only want the design half — take the accelerator instead
–
You want a job guarantee — four in five job-seeking graduates work in tech within 12 months, but we can't guarantee it
No prior AI experience and no coding required. Every module is built around work you already do, so what you practise on Tuesday is usable on Wednesday.
Build a personal AI toolkit that removes hours of low-value work from your week: drafting, research, analysis, summarising, planning.
Set the norms, guardrails and shared language your team needs so AI raises the quality of the work instead of the volume of the noise.
Work alongside AI agents as capable collaborators: delegate well, review critically, and know when the human call is the only call.
Map a real process from your own role and rebuild it as an automated workflow you can hand to the rest of your team.
Handle data, IP, bias and disclosure the way a regulated organisation expects and be the person in the room who can explain why.
An automated workflow from your own role, an AI use policy your team can adopt, and a postgraduate credential on your CV.

A facilitated evening session each week with your cohort and an industry practitioner.
You do the week's work on your own role — your documents, your process, your team.
Share what you built, get it critiqued, and take the good ideas from five other industries.
This credential was built for professionals in any industry who are expected to use AI well and haven't been shown how. Accountants, lawyers, teachers, project managers, marketers, operations leads, clinicians.
You want your output to go further without your hours going up. You'll leave with a personal AI workflow that holds up under real deadlines.
Your team is already using AI, unevenly and quietly. You'll leave with the norms, guardrails and review habits that make that safe and consistent.
Send a cohort. Everyone finishes with the same shared language, the same safety expectations, and automated workflows built on your own processes.
Six weeks makes you the person on the team who uses AI well. Carry on and you become the person who decides what your organisation builds with it — the AI Product Manager accelerator picks up exactly where this credential stops.
Build personal and team AI capability from scratch. Automate your own workflows and set the safety and ethics guardrails around them.
Move from using AI to directing it — discovery, roadmaps, and shipping AI products with engineering and design teams.
A mentored placement with a real employer, a portfolio of shipped work, and a reference from the team you shipped it with.
Applications take about ten minutes. No portfolio, no test, no technical background required. Tell us the work you do and we'll tell you whether this is the right start.
Scholarships and funding options may be available for selected candidates.
