Mission Ready is an official host of AI Hackathon Aotearoa — a national event where developers, designers, and technologists come together to build solutions using artificial intelligence.
Have an idea that AI could help solve? Align it to the key themes of the hackathon, submit it and we'll help form a team to build it.
Bring your skills — whether technical, creative, or strategic — and collaborate to make something meaningful.
Already built something worth sharing? Apply to showcase your work to the wider community.
Because AI isn’t just about automation — it’s about imagination, impact, and solving problems that matter.
At the AI Hackathon Aotearoa, you’ll be part of a nationwide movement to show how AI can be used for good — in our communities, our workplaces, and our future.
But it’s not just about the cause. It’s about what you’ll gain. Stretch your thinking, collaborate with industry mentors, and work on real-world challenges that sharpen your skills. You’ll grow your professional network, and learn from mentors. This is your chance to stand out and move forward.
The hackathon will be run online, so you can join from anywhere. Beginners welcome.
