Mission Ready HQ is breaking new ground creating unique learning experiences immersed in workplace realities. We are known for our Tech Career Accelerators designed to develop the next tech talent including but not limited to Salesforce Developer, Full Stack Developers, Cloud & AI developers, Technical Founders and UX Designers.

We are looking for a new kind of consultant, who not only enjoys creating but also training. We need someone who is interested in bringing his or her unique personality, style and points of view to develop new talent in tech. Someone who is not afraid to challenge the status quo and someone who is inspired by creating new experiences.

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant – as long as you are passionate, a quick learner, good facilitator, organised and can create experiences that matter to our customers. This means we are looking for someone with three characteristics :

* Passion for tech trends and a sucker for new ways of working in tech – be it agile, design thinking, hackathons or you tell us!
* Enjoys writing one hell of a code in at least one programming language – or more!
* Most importantly, has boundless energy and care for people and a knack for breaking down complex topics and transferring know how in simple language!

The primary responsibility of this role is to create the best learning environment to allow students to learn, grow and succeed. They will provide high quality teaching and learning on a range of courses, provide tutorial, mentoring and pastoral support.

Responsibilities
* Plan and design learning experiences including designing, creating and delivering sessions, workshops and demos
* Deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences for the assigned programmes
* Coach, guide and mentor our students to become successful professionals
* Provide pastoral care to ensure students feel supported and guided to succeed
* Manage and coordinate industry mentors for each career accelerator
* Manage industry project sponsor’s expectations and student expectations during the on-site applied learning project phase
* Assess student work in accordance with the Mission Ready QMS, standards, guidelines and provide constructive feedback to support candidates to become successful
* Comply with all policies and procedures and support the rest of the team to provide advice and guidance to improve overall performance
* Capture and report student performance and outcomes in accordance with Mission Ready guidelines
* Stay current by reading widely, consulting with project sponsors and publishing relevant blogs and articles

Required skills, qualifications and experience:
* Relevant Salesforce development related qualification/ professional certification including but not limited to Salesforce Admin Cert, App Builder and Business Analyst
* Salesforce Functional Consultant experience of a minimum of five years in relevant field
* Growth mindset, agile mindset and design thinking methodology is a must have
* Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skill
* Previous training experience in industry or education necessary

We are currently looking for a team of Developer, UX Designer and Salesforce mentors. Join an innovative team who are passionate about change and help students to learn, grow and succeed!

* Contract assignment for 2-3 hours a week over 10-weeks

At Mission Ready HQ, we specialise in getting passionate people into the Tech Industry. Our why – We believe the world needs a better, faster way to develop and coach talented, creative individuals into exciting tech careers with organisations that care.

Mission Ready runs Tech Career Accelerator programmes in partnership with several industry project sponsors to train candidates (students) to get ready for jobs in the tech industry. As a mentor, your primary responsibility in this mentorship assignment will be to provide guidance to candidates, who have already completed a 9-week training, to complete their assigned projects in their 10-week work experience with an industry project sponsor. 

Responsibilities include:
The 10-week work experience aims to equip Mission Ready candidates to become a specialist in an IT profession, ready to go into employment or start their own businesses. A Mentor can provide “technical”, “life-skill” and “process” coaching to candidates. These are a few of the tasks that you are expected to perform as a mentor: 

* Coach and mentor candidates to transition them from trainees to successful professionals: 
   – enable candidates to understand what they need to learn
   – support candidates to define their work in their project 
   – guide candidates on the application of Agile practices and mindsets and Design Thinking principles and practices 
   – monitor project progress

* Guide the candidate’s work in relation to the industry project sponsor’s expectations: 
   – attend project kick-offs to understand the project background 
   – meet with candidates regularly to provide guidance and constructive feedback to support their performance
   – guide candidates if they need help with communication and collaboration
   – support candidates to complete their assessments and attend final presentations    

* Manage candidate engagement and communicate regularly with the Mission Ready Lead Trainer / Coach 
* Adhere to the terms and conditions in the contract for independent contractors of Mission Ready

This full-time position is to effectively coordinate and support the delivery of Mission Ready programmes by providing the necessary pastoral care and support to students and efficient administrative support to the delivery team. Reporting to the Programme Director, the position liaises with members of the delivery team across all programme levels. Also you will support other team members to plan and deliver cross-team support during peak times and identify solutions to complex student-related issues and concerns.

Responsibilities include:
* Support trainers to deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences for students
* Provide pastoral care to ensure students feel supported and guided to succeed
* Ensure accurate course content, assessment and evaluations are available to students in accordance with the schedule
* Capture data and report on student support, performance, and outcomes in a timely manner, in accordance with Mission Ready guidelines
* Liaise and collaborate with Mission Ready staff and students
* Comply with all policies and procedures, and partner with colleagues to improve our overall performance

Successful Candidates will have:
* A strong customer focus with excellent communication skills
* An ability to prepare professional documentation for various audiences
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and recommend solutions to challenging issues
* Relationship management skills, including the ability to interact with, negotiate with and gain cooperation from a diverse range of stakeholders
* A genuine commitment to care and provide pastoral support for students
* A knack for breaking down complex information and transferring know-how in simple language
* Advanced digital literacy is a must have
* Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing priorities, implementing improvements, and meeting deadlines
* An understanding or experience in the tech industry is preferred but not essential
* A passion for tech trends and an interest in new ways of working in tech
